ABOUT MANOJ ORNAMENTS
The family’s involvement in the jewellery business, known as Manoj Jewellers, dates back to 1970 in Mumbai, with origins even earlier in their Rajasthan hometown. In 1988, a significant development occurred when the patriarch decided to name a new company after his eldest son, Manoj.
The journey for Manoj Jewellers began on June 8, 1988, with the opening of their jewelry retail venture under the same name. The expansion continued, and by 1997, Manoj Ornaments Pvt. Ltd. was established. During this time, one of the sons was balancing college education with managing the responsibilities of the family business.
The father – VALCHAND JAIN had always dreamed of opening a store in a prominent market, a dream that became a reality in 1997. His pride would have only grown further to see his three sons take Manoj Jewellers global, with offices now in the UAE, Hong Kong, and operations in the USA.
For the son, earning an MBA from the “Marwadi Business Academy” was a profound achievement, reflecting the true business principles and life lessons valued by his father. The emphasis on ethical treatment of people and customers instilled by his father was considered more valuable than any prestigious awards.
